I always get a bit nostalgic by Christmas time so I took a look at my old collages. Oh bear, there are hundreds of them and each and every one brings back all kinds of memories. Here’s a little selection of the collages I’ve made for Christmas.
2010
This was the last Christmas with Knut. I can still recall the warm feeling I had making the story of Knut and the Golden Girls.
Katjuscha’s tree wasn’t exactly what Knut had in mind ….
…. but, of course, our magic bear managed to fix a most beautiful tree.
The icy and snowy stones were a bit slippery.
Everything was ready! Knuti made sure his stocking was big enough …. 🙂
2011
A Christmas with mixed feelings …..
However, Knut was – and still is – with us in spirit.
Ewa and Wilbär brought us cheerful greetings from Orsa.
2012
Always remembered – never forgotten!
The Golden Girls and the Bear Angel
Opfelia was in a good Christmas spirit!
2013
One of my favourite stories – if I may say so myself – is the one when the Golden Girls ‘found’ a Christmas tree and demanded a police car to escort them and the tree to the zoo.
Nancy made sure the tree would arrive in the zoo safe and sound! 🙂
2014
This year Ranzo had left Ranua and moved to Vienna but his parents wanted to send a gift to him. What could be more suitable than a salmon from the north! Manasse gave Santa detailed instructions.
Uncle Sergej and his kids sent this lovely card to the readers of Knuti’s Weekly.
Giovanna, Yoghi, Nela and Nobby sent a nice family portrait.
Fiete admired the northern lights
This Christmas card from Fiete certainly made everybody happy!
2016
Fiete had moved to the Sóstó Zoo in Hungary but he sent us his best greetings.
Charlotte in Nuremberg enjoyed the snow.
Even sweet Lili remembered us with a lovely card.
The years come and go and Christmas is a guest in our homes every year. Our beloved Knut is a permanent guest in our hearts.
With this potpourri I wish all the readers of Knuti’s Weekly a Merry and Happy Christmas!
