Dear Ranzo! Today is your 5th birthday and I feel a bit nostalgic …. I thought it would be a good way to celebrate your special day with some wonderful photos of you when you still lived in Ranua. I want to thank the Ranua Zoo once again for being so generous with information and photos!
Of course, I love all the Winter photos where you’re having so much fun – by yourself or together with mama Venus.
Oh bear, rolling in the snow was fantastic! Luckily you could spend your childhood in northern Finland where snow is guaranteed every Winter!
This fish was big enough for both of you ….
…. and you got your fair share.
Watching photos of you in the icy water made me freeze but you loved it.
With mama in your proper element.
Naturally, even the Spring time was a fun time ….

There’s nothing that compares to cuddling with mama!
Time flies too quickly and it was time for you to move on – to Vienna where you now live with your girlfriend Lynn. I hope you are very happy together.
Unfortunately it’s very seldom we get news from you nowadays. The Tiergarten Schönbrunn celebrates the pandas’ and the elephants’ birthdays but not yours. I must say that makes me a bit upset and disappointed.
Well, we celebrate you here instead!
