After the break I’m glad to present photos of Nivi and Wolodja in the Diergaarde Blijdorp (Rotterdam Zoo) to the readers of this magazine.
Nivi’s sister Elva is still living with mama Frimas in the Dierenrijk Nuenen but let’s hope even she will find as nice new home as her brother.
When Nel visited the zoo Nivi was very busy ‘decorating’ the pool.
Oh bear, this isn’t as easy as I thought ….
….. but there it is!
That was exhausting but the mission is completed and I’m very pleased with myself.
Wolodja shows what he thinks of Nivi’s activities. 🙂
Our Teddy prefers a more easy going life.
What’s the point in messing around ….
…. when you can take a nice nap and wait for the next meal?

Nivi is a playful and fun-loving young bear who knows how to have a good time. He looks very handsome with his plush fur.
Volodya seems to be taking it easy and not getting caught up in Nivi’s activities. In two photos he reminds me of our beloved Yoghi. I am glad that he is doing well!
The little vicuña is adorable.

Nuenen has a refugee from Orsa. Wilbaet seems to have settled in well to his new home.
Dear Mervi and Dear Nel, it is always amazing to see with what simple and small means a polar bear can have big fun. However, decorating the pool is an important task, isn’t it. Wolodja became a handsome male. Maybe he is dreaming of Tonya???
