It’s been a while since we met the polar bears in Nuenen due to the magazine crash but now it’s a great pleasure for me to show some lovely photos of our white giants.
The Summer has been very hot so Wilbär spent a lot of time in the water ….
…. or at least very close to the wet element.
Hmmm, isn’t that chair a bit uncomfortable …. ?
Frimas is a beautiful lady. I’m sure Wilbär will be charmed by her when they meet.
Elva is now as big as her mama ….
…. but Frimas still allows her to visit her milk bar.
After a good meal it’s nice to take things easy.

Thank you for the wonderful pictures of Wilbär, Frimas and Elva! I hope Wilbär will meet Frimas or Elva in the Spring. He is an adult bear now.

yes, it is nice that we can see our darlings in the different zoos again so little by little thanks to our zoo reporters, so today by Hans.
Wilbär looks very relaxed and seems to have coped well with the temperature change from Ranua. Frimas and her daughter are still living very harmoniously together and a sip from the milk bar is still welcome.

Thank you very much for the latest polar bear pictures from Nuenen, which was still summery!
Frimas and Elva are still getting along well and Elva is becoming as beautiful as her mother.
Wilbär is also looking very good and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next with the three of them. I especially liked the photos of the totally relaxed or sleeping Wilbär.

Dear Mervi and Dear Hans, thank you so much for this update. It looks like Wilbär is getting used to his new surroundings. Although I think that the heat of this Summer must have been quite a shock for him after leaving Orsa. I wish him lots of snow this Winter. But in the end, there is at least one of the Orsa polar bears already having a good new home. Frimas has always demonstrated her great motherly skills.
