As you know my wonderful Knuti’s Weekly Magazine was hacked and destroyed. I worked with Knuti’s Weekly Magazine for almost 15 years so it’s no wonder I will miss it. After being sad, devastated, upset – you name it! – I decided to make a new version of the magazine.
I want to thank you all for your kind and encouriging words after the crash. They gave me energy to start this new magazine.
This is how KWM looked
This magazine is not an exact copy of the old one but I tried to make look as much as KWM as possible. The contents will, of course, be of our beloved animals just like before.
I wanted to keep the connection to our magic polar bear because Knut inspired me to start the magazine and I will dedicate even the new version to him. So now the title is Knuti’s Magazine and I illustrated my first article with photos of Knut.
During the first few weeks – maybe months – there will be new articles but also some old ones that I managed to find.
It’s really sad that we lost so many fantastic articles and stories but luckily our animal friends keep providing us with good stuff even in the future.
We lost a lot of good stuff but we still have sweet memories in our hearts and no hacker can take them away from us!
This is to all evil hackers!
I’m sure there will be some ‘mishaps’ before I’m really ‘comfortable’ with the new editor and the new theme. I hope you will overlook them and enjoy Knuti’s Magazine just like you enjoyed KWM!

It was shocking, as we realized, that KnutisWeekly-Magazine was hacked weeks ago. Now we have a new magazine: and it looks great! I can imagine how much work it was (and is), because I had to move my blog in 2015. We all have to thank you for the efforts, to publish this magazine in the future. No hacker can destroy our love for the white giants and their first ambassador Knut!

Dear Mevi, I must confess I am greatly impressed how you could swallow this loss (catastrophe!) for a creator of such work-intensive thing like products for the net (blogs, forums, photographs, own texts etc.) and NOT ‘pack it all in’ but rather restart in next to no time – and create something new, all in collecting your choice of ancient contents you could obviously still find in and dig out of other sources.
I am wishing you sufficient luck and energy to always being able to continue without or with only little complaint even if things might go wrong again for one or another reason once in a while in the future.

wie alle hier freue auch ich mich kolossal, dass du Knutis Magazine weiterführst und du trotz aller Wut, Frustation und Trauer nicht aufgegeben hast. Das soll dir mal einer nachmachen!
Deshalb auch hier nochmals meine ganz große Bewunderung und Dank an dich für den Neuanfang und die mühevolle Arbeit, wenigstens einen kleinen Teil der geretteten Beiträge wieder hier einzustellen unter diesem schönen neuen Layout.

auch ich freue mich sehr, dass es Dir gelungen ist, in relativ kurzer Zeit eine “Neuauflage” Deines wundervollen Knut-Magazins zu “zaubern”. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das sehr sehr viel Arbeit gemacht hat. Alles nur weil, wie Anita es schon treffend geschrieben hat, weil es Idioten gibt, die unter Zerstörungswut leiden.
Auch wenn ich aus Zeitgründen mich kaum mehr in KWM gemeldet habe. Reingeschaut habe ich immer wieder.
