The Spring has arrived even in Novosibirsk but I want to show you some last snowy photos of our polar bear friends.
Belka and Strelka taking a walk in the white stuff before it melts away.
The magpies are frequent visitors in the girls’ enclosure.
A nice nap on the soft snow matress.
Papa Kai looks very handsome in the snow.
What? Am I not handsome without the snow?
Oh yes, you are always handsome!
The baby boy hasn’t got a name yet but there’s a name competition going on so soon we will know ….
Walks with mama are on the schedule every day.
The snow isn’t so white anymore …
… and soon the baby will experience the enclosure in a different ‘dress’.
The keepers in this zoo usually create an ‘arctic corner’ with snow in the enclosure so I hope they will do that this season, too.

Thank you for these lovely photos of the polar bears from Novosibirsk! Unlike me, the bears will surely miss the snow. But hopefully they’ll enjoy life in the spring too.
The little one is absolutely adorable and is being lovingly and carefully looked after by Gerda, whilst Kai is taking it easy…
They all look great and I wish them all the very best.
