Terve! Hello! It’s your pal Sisu writing again. Well, my friend Mervi has helped me as usual. She’s a good secretary!
This year is coming to an end and a new year is soon here. The world situation is a total mess but here in the Yorkshire Wildlife Park we have all had a good year. Hopefully the next year will be as good for us.
I’m not alone anymore! Nobby, Hamish and I have spent a lot of time together.
We had a nice lunch hour together – isn’t that great!
Excuse me for showing our boomsies but they are quite presentable. I’m sure you agree.
Luka really is a giant!
Luka and Indie are good friends, too.
Nobby is a always a cool customer. He believes in the saying that a good nap is like saving money in a bank.
Although he’s an expert in pinching food from others this time he let Hamish had the food. 🙂
While Hamish is eating Nobby is ‘saving money’. 🙂
Hamish’ little brother Brodie has joined us but I haven’t any photos of him yet. Maybe next time … He’s staying here when he’s home in Scotland is having a ‘make over’.
Oh yeah, the Winter is here but we have no snow yet.
Where are the white little things that should be falling on the ground?
I think I start dreaming of a white Christmas right now. See you soon again!

Du hast mit deinen Kumpeln im Yorshire Park ein tolles Zuhause gefunden, leider allerdings ohne Schnee, das ist der einzige Nachteil. Vielleicht gibt es doch hin und wieder eine kurze weiße Pracht.

Bei uns läuft zur Zeit Sonntagnachmittags im TV auf ONE ein Remake von “Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh” (All creatures great and small). Nachdem ich anfangs arg gefremdelt habe, schaue ich mir jetzt sehr gerne an, wie die Erinnerungen von James Herriot aus den 30ern heute filmisch umgesetzt werden. Die Serie spielt in Yorkshire und über Mangel an Schnee im Winter können sich die Protagonisten jedenfalls nicht beklagen. Das lässt hoffen, dass die Eisbären im YWP noch reichlich Schnee und Kälte bekommen werden. Ich wünsche es Sisu und den anderen Eisbären und drücke ganz fest die Daumen.
Alle drei sehen auch ohne Schnee super aus, vielleicht ein bisschen schmuddelig…
