Panda, Gorilla & Co in Berlin

Wie Ihr wisst, bin ich im Prinzip nur auf Arbeit und komme einfach zu gar nichts. Mehrfach musste ich eine Reise nach Berlin absagen und konnte Euch damit nicht die Babys von Meng Meng vorstellen. Nun aber – zum Jahresende hin – ging es endlich nach Berlin, die Babys 🐼 Leni & Lotti 🐼 besuchen.

As you know, I’m basically only at work and just don’t get round to anything. I had to cancel a trip to Berlin several times and was therefore unable to introduce you to Meng Meng’s babies. But now – towards the end of the year – I finally went to Berlin to visit the babies 🐼 Leni & Lotti 🐼.

… und die Eisbären erinnern uns an die guten alten Zeiten, als es im Zoo noch weiße Riesen und ein ganz besonderes Bärenbaby gab.

… and the polar bears remind us of the good old days when there were white giants and a very special baby bear in the zoo.

Aber zuerst traf ich einige andere Bewohner dieses Zoos.

But first I met some other inhabitants in this zoo.

Ich kenne die Namen dieses Paares nicht, aber sie sehen zusammen wirklich bezaubernd aus.

I don’t know the names of this couple but they sure look lovely together.

Das ist der wunderschöne Persische Leopard Shiva.

This is he beautiful Persian leopard Shiva.

Natürlich ist ein Besuch bei Lady Fatou ein ‘muss’!

Of course, visiting Lady Fatou is a ‘must’!

Die gute alte Dame ist immer noch voll da.

The good old lady is still going strong.

Jetzt ist es Zeit, die Panda-Familie kennenzulernen.

Now it’s time to meet the panda family.
