Oh, baby … I met a rhino baby and lots of bears at the Cleveland Zoo. Here are photos from my visit to the zoo on the 13th of October. ✌️❤️&🐾
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was excited to announce the birth of a critically endangered Eastern black rhino calf, a milestone that comes just in time for World Rhino Day, an international day of awareness celebrated every September 22 for this iconic species.
The baby was born on September 13 to 22-year-pld mother Kibibbi and 25-year-old father Forrest.
Sloth bears …. Mom running in front with a snack, followed by baby Suhani born last December.
Mom on the left and baby Suhani on the right.
Oh my …. you sure have grown since i last saw you in May.
Baby Suhani found a bagged snackie.
I think baby sloth bear is going to do a somersault.
Yep and it was PURRfect😍
Andean bear must have heard the paparazzi is near.
An andean bear tongue out for today 🙂
Hello, black bear!
Grizzly brothers Jackson & Cody were eating dinner at the end of the day.
“Bro …. stop eating! Look who’s back!”
Hello, handsome😍 “well, I’ll be…twice in 1 year!” Looking good, Jackson & Cody😍

The rhino-baby is so cute and so are
the sloth bear kids! 🙂 But Jackson
and Cody are very handsome too. 🙂
Dear Michelle!
The Rhino baby is cute.
There are many different bears in the zoo Cleveland.

Dear Michelle!
Thank you for your fabulous photos from Cleveland! It must have been a delightful and rewarding visit to the zoo, and the adorable animals you showed us – especially the little black rhino, but also the many bears (I particularly liked the charmer in the hammock) – not only bring joy, but also evoke fond memories of earlier times at Berlin Zoo.
Hugs
