On the 20th of July Rebecca visited the Zoo Karlruhe for the first time after Kap’s passing. Naturally, it was sad to realize that the beautiful male bear wasn’t there anymore. However, life goes on and Kap left a lovely inheritence to us – cute Mika.
Nuka
Of course, Mika wanted to challenge the big ball again …
… but it’s still too big. He chose another ball of more suitable size instead.
Mika and mama Nuka had found a wood log that needed a thorough examination.
Let’s see if this log is polar bear proof.
Hmm, it doesn’t taste good. Yikes and yikes!
After all that hard work it was time for well deserved snackies! Mika found a slice of melon ….
… and some kind of lettuce.
Nuka found green stuff, too.
Boomsie to boomsie 🙂
Mika wanted to find a comfortable spot as close to mama as possible.
Perfect!

Do you want to hold my paw? – Thank you very much for your kind invitation, dear Nuka but I think I pass! 🙂
Bye bye for now! We hope Rebecca will visit us soon again! Have a happy Summer time!
