On my recent visit to Jimmy’s Farm on the 28th of April, I found Flocke & Tala to be still as close as ever! 🥰
Is it one or two bears ….. 🙂
Flocke is as beautiful as always.
She loves to roll on the grass …
…. but manages to keep her fur very white and fluffy!
The ‘sea side air’ does wonders to her health and beauty.
Tala really is a big girl now.
During my visit she was wearing an off-white fur. 🙂
Tala has inherited her parents’ good looks.
She enjoys walkabouts in the nice big meadow.
Although they are still very close, Flocke is not as anxious as she once was but she still follows Tala around. Tala on the other hand has become a bit of a Madame! I felt a little sorry for Ewa, especially when Tala started to chase her (followed by Flocke) on a couple of separate occasions. The first time it happened they ran all around the water in the smaller enclosure, through the housing area and it continued around the water in the larger enclosure. Poor Ewa…..and Flocke! On one occasion Ewa stopped and turned towards Tala who stopped dead in her tracks and looked for her mum! 😂 Tala also chased Ewa off when the keepers came with snacks, this is probably why Ewa ate so much grass! 🤔
Following their morning ‘workout, Ewa, Tala & Flocke decided to put in another training session in the afternoon. It was obviously hard going for Flocke who was struggling to keep up!
After the running session Tala needed a well deserved break! 🙂

Thank you for your update on Jimmy’s farm!
With three ladies there is often a little friction, as there is in the male groups.
Flocke looks fantastic and Tala lives up to the saying that only scruffy bears are happy bears.
Ewa still needs a bit more self-confidence to be able to hold her own against cheeky Tala.

Molly Merrow says that the keepers in France used to call Tala Rasputina because she was so like her dad.
I do feel sorry for Ewa and Hope. Flocke and Tala are very determined. I hope that the keepers at Jimmys will make an effort to help Ewa with special treats and training.

Thanks for another update on the polar bear ladies at Jimmy’s farm. Flocke and Tala are looking great and seem content. Ewa will hopefully win the hearts of her female flatmates! I feel a bit sorry for her too.

Flocke und Tala sind nach wie vor sehr eng miteinander und so haben sowohl Ewa,als auch Hope das Nachsehen. Obwohl beide sich auch zu behaupten wissen und Ewa mehr eine Einzelgängerin zu sein scheint…
Trotzdem denke ich, dass diese Familienzusammenführung gelungen ist!🐻❄️🐻❄️🐻❄️🐻❄️😊
