9.1.2025 – Photos by Arkadi Laptenko and Sergej Iltjakov
The Winter has come to stay in Novosibirsk – well, at least until the Spring comes. Belka and Strelka are, of course, having bundles of fun playing in the white stuff.
Good morning, dear sister! Time to rise and shine!
What? Are you still sleepy? I know how to wake you up!
There’s nothing like a quick polar bear polka to keep us awake! 🙂
Both sisters look very beautiful with their white furs.
Many toys have seen better days but they’re still quite ‘playable’. 🙂
Should I try to climb a little?
A very elegant and bearsonal style. 🙂
Oh my, do you think I can climb th e stairs. It’s a real challenge but I don’t mind challenges – I’m a mighty polar bear already.
Hurray! I made it! I made it!
Dear Sis, don’t you want to try, too?
You’re very clever – a real mounteneer ….
…. but I prefer to stay downstairs.
There was a toy on the top of the stairs ….
…. but soon it had landed.
A little argument …
… but soon the sisters were walking together in peace and harmony.
There’s a lovely video by Sergej in Facebook – rather long but very entertaining!
Knuti’s Magazine wishes the polar bears a happy Winter time.
So schön,dass sie sich haben! 🥰 💓

…Und ein sehr schöner, lustiger Bericht zu den tollen Fotos von Belka und Strelka, die nicht nur prächtig aussehen, sondern sich auch wieder ihres Lebens freuen !!👍🐻❄️😾👌👌😊
Dear Arkadi and Sergej!
Belka and Strelka are simply adorable and obviously feel very comfortable in their enclosure. The wonderful photos show all their charm and zest for life. Icy steps are not an obstacle but a challenge for them…
How nice that they can play together and enjoy the winter as sisters!
Thank you so much for showing us!
Hugs
Anke
Dear Mervi,
I also enjoy the beautiful play scenes with Belka and Strelka in their new enclosure and you wish their parents an equally beautiful enclosure instead of the few concrete steps in front of their swimming pool!
Dear Arkadi and Sergej, it is good to see the girls playful again, they seem to be settled in well now
