22.11.2024 – Photos by Jonny Fez
It’s been snowing in England so the polar bears Nanook and Noori could enjoy the first snow in the Peak Wildlife Park. Jonny had the right timing for his visit and he could take some wonderful photos.
Both bears were wandering and wondering. I can’t tell who’s who but they both look lovely!
What’s this white stuff? It doesn’t smell or taste anything ….
….. but it feels nice under my paws.
Well, Nanook and Noori were used to lots of snow in Orsa so maybe they were not so surprised by the falling snow flakes.
The keepers had made a snow man – or rather a snow seal for their polar bear friends.
The squirrels are always cute but a little snow on the nose made this one especially cute.
The Squirrel Restaurant had got a new floor. 🙂
Who said squirrels have no facial expression? 🙂
One can’t but love this sweetie pie!
Dear Jonny! I love to publish ‘snowy photos’ so it was a great pleasure for me to receive these wonderful pics of sweet animals. Thank you so much!
Dear Jonny and Mervi
Thank you for this lovely seasonal card with Polar Bears and Squirrels. It is great that the Peak Park has given the two bears a home like Orsa
Hi Ralph. It was really great to see them in the snow. We only get this level of snow in England on rare occasions and to get it with bright sunshine was a bonus so I had to visit the polar bears and squirrels.
Dear Jonny and Mervi!
This is how winter days should be: crispy cold, sunny and with snow. The photos, including the one with the pretty squirrel, are marvellous!
I’m so happy for Nanook and Noori that they got to enjoy this. They look happy and the nice snow seal was a very loving gesture from the keepers!
I wish them many more beautiful snow days this winter!
Thanks for showing us!
Hugs
Anke
