Hello! Terve! It’s your Sisu boy calling again. This time I have great news for you. After having been separated from my polar pals I was allowed to meet Luka again.
It felt a bit odd to be together with another polar bear again. They say I was separated because of the ‘tricky’ hormones. I don’t know what hormones are but I would like to break them!! After all – I’m a mighty polar bear!
First Luka and I only walked around the enclosure …. as you can we have lots of space. Enough for both of us. 🙂
We got closer and closer each other.
Then we found something eatable och enjoyed it together.
I don’t remember who suggested some water games … but it was super fun!
How great to meet you again, old chap!
The pleasure is all mine!
Our first meeting went very well. I hope we will be good friends now that the ugly hormones have hopefully left me for good!!
Now that you’ve seen Luka and me having fun it’s time to show you a nice photo of Nobby. I hope I will meet him, too.
My pal Hamish has been limping so he was not out. Hopefully he will soon be ‘fit for fight’ so perhaps I will meet him as well.
After a busy day I wanted to travel to the Napland.
Of course, I must make my bed first.
It’s not easy to find servants these days so I have to do it myself!
I think it’s good enough now!
My bedroom is very cosy so I’m sure I’m going to dream of nice things like snow and ice ….
Oh bear, the Lake Polar Bear Monster struck again! Please, don’t get scared – he’s a very friendly kind of monster. 🙂
Jens
Hello Jens,
We were chatting with each other at the YWP on Monday……it was really nice to meet you.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to Jimmy’s Farm to see the girls and they were on good form for you…..especially Tala, who is the more playful of the four. Have a great time at Peak W.P. and say hello to Nanook & Noori for me.
Best Wishes, Pat
Hi Pat!
It was a wonderful day at 🏴 Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Thank you for the comprehensive information.
Jimmy’s Farm is great for the 4 polar bear ladies.
The 2 boys at Peak Wildlife Park are doing great.
Thank you for your time at YWP 🏴
Best wishes Jens
PS: Is Noori the boss at Peak Wildlife Park?
Nanook is really scared to go to sleep in Noori’s Cave in the evening.
Dear Pat!
Thank you for these impressive pictures and good news! Even the first photo shows that Sisu is a picture of a polar bear man: big, proud and beautiful!
It’s great that he and Luka can maintain their male friendship again and have fun together. Well, Sisu’s hormones got out of control and resulted in a long period of separation, but he seems to have got through it well.
I hope that Hamish and Nobby will soon be seen together with the two of them again on the course – safe and sound.
Hugs
Anke
Dear Pat and Mervi
Managing six male Polar Bears is not easy for the Rangers. It is good that Sisu has been able to spend time with Luka. It would be great if Hamish could get along with Sisu too.
The individual bears’ urges and urges seem to be very different, so that one or the other has to be separated for longer.
I hope that the reunion with the others will be as harmonious as that of Sisu and Luka, who are looking splendid.
Pat, many thanks for your report and the lovely photos!
Best regards,
Britta-Gudrun
Alle guten Wünsche für Sisu und Luka!! Es ist schön dass Sisu endlich wieder Gesellschaft hat und wie es aussieht, läuft es gut mit den beiden prächtigen Eisbären!! 👍🐻❄️🐻❄️👏
Terve! dear SISU. You get more and more beautiful time by time we get to see you in KM/knutisweekly. You are well prepared for the winter with this extremely thick fur and obviously being in best mood play-fighting with your friend.
Love each and every of the photos and the humorous sub-/up-titles. . . . . The second pic from above is especially great, showing you in full size, looking like an opera-star in a well-made setting 🙂
