Tala likes to spend time with mama Flocke but she also knows how to entertain herself. The big enclosure offers lots of space for nice walkabouts.
Tala (303 kg) is now bigger than mama Flocke (290 kg). I’m sure Raspi would be very proud of his beautiful daughter if he could see her now.
There are lots of toys for our turbo bear.
Tala had a great time swimming.
Oh my, my paw is still so dirty!
The red ball is Tala’s favourite so she had a wonderful ‘performance’ with the toy.
One, two three ….
… and here it flies!
Then it was time for the yellow ball.
Oh bear, I think I found the sun in our lake!
This ball is so big – it simply must be the sun – but I will ask mama. My mama always knows the right answers!

With such a large selection of coloured balls, Tala never gets bored. And she deserves top marks of 10 for her ball skills!
Tala is plump and pretty and Flocke and Raspi can be proud of her. Let’s hope she gets on with her mum for a long time to come.

Tala is truly a big girl now! How nice that she can choose the right size and colour ball for her water games depending on her mood. She seems very happy!

Although Tala was the smallest of Flocke’s cubs she has received plenty of milk from Mama Flocke. Both Knut and Flocke as hand reared cubs are smaller than those who got real Polar Bear milk.
