Oh, 🐻 Remember the parting advice 🐻 Boris left me with….”don’t talk to strange 🐻s”. Oopsie! At least they weren’t strangers! I met this handsome pair 2 years ago when I stopped at the Cleveland Zoo. Due to extreme heat I did not stop in Toledo as originally planned, but hope to do so on my return. Happy Friday! ✌️
“Look Bro! Our 🐻 loving friend came back!!
I believe these handsome grizzly brothers are named Cooper & Cody.
“It’s ok, Boris! We’re NOT strange 🐻s!”
It’s a toss back to my stop at the Cleveland Zoo on Aug 28th. Starting off with a few of the big cats (male tiger & lions).
Entering Tiger Passage which was completed in 2016 for $4.1 million. It’s 15,500 square feet of natural habitat.

Hector is dad to the cubs (2 – a male & female) born last Christmas (2023). Cubs & Mom were out, but I didn’t get pics.

Hello, handsome Doc!

Dear Michelle!
What an interesting and funny first part of your zoo report! I had to read it at least twice before I understood that bears can also be jealous when it comes to their favourite visitors…
The Cleveland Zoo gives both the animals and the visitors what they need and expect. You see magnificent animals, lovingly cared for, in well-planned enclosures. What more could you want?

Dear Michelle!
Thank you for the interesting report. Cooper and Cody are very handsome bears.

Dear Michelle,
Thank you for your photos from the Toledo Zoo, which invests a lot of money in the facilities for its animals.
The brownies feel just as comfortable there as the tigers, lions and giraffes.
Best regards
