On the 23rd of August the Yorkshire Wildlife Park revealed the names od Darcy’s and Brooke’s adorable cubs.
The sweeties are now called Kendi (meaning the loved one in Afrikaans) and Tafari (meaning he who inspires)! 💙
Darcy is a good and loving mama.
The baby cheetah is tired but Darcy is always keeping an eye on the surroundings.
This is Kendi receiving a little pampering from mama.
Tafari was finishing his dinner.
The kids love to play and fool around together …
Hiding from mama? 🙂
… and, naturally, they are sometimes having a friendly wrestling game.
A cubbie must keep himself presentable – in case there’s a photographer around! 🙂

Exploring the big enclosure is on the schedule every day.

these are great photos of the Gebarden family and one is more beautiful than the other! I also like the names very much.

Thank you for the photos of these extremely cute little predators. Adult cheetahs are very elegant big cats and their kids are not only adorable, but their cuteness is spiced up by a certain fierce facial expression due to their markings.
The YWP is certainly very proud of this breeding success – and rightly so! I wish Kendi and Tafari a happy and beautiful life!
