The brown bears in Nuenen haven’t been hibernating but this time of the year they seem to be newly awakened anyway.
When Hans visited the bears they were in a dancing mood – at least one of them. 🙂
Come on! It takes two to tango!
One of the bears seems to have a limited enthusiasm. Or maybe he was taking care of the music by growling …. 🙂
Shake it, baby – shake it. We’ve got rhytm! Let’s show Hans and the other visitors how we brownies dance.
The dance looks more like wrestling now but who cares. The main thing is the bears are having fun!
The ‘singer’ is acting as a referee now! 🙂
The lions and a magpie were watching the bear disco.
Those bears are rather silly – don’t you agree, brother? Why do they exhaust themselves when they could just take things easy?
Oh, let them have their fun. I’m going to take a nap anyway!
Maybe the bears listened to the lions’ advice because they decided to take a break from dancing. 🙂

Den Bären juckt das Fell im Frühjahr. Da ist man einem flotten Tänzchen nicht abgeneigt.

Auf den Fotos wirkt das Ganze tatsächlich wie ein Tänzchen und die Untertitel sind lustig.
Aber ich glaube, dass die Bären weniger miteinander tanzen als raufen, weil auch die Bärenbrüder in Berlin zur Zeit viele Schaukämpfe austragen. Die Braunbären in Nuenen sind scheinbar genauso rauflustig wie die in Berlin. Vielleicht ist es der Frühling und die steigenden Hormone. Hauptsache, dass aus dem Spaß kein Ernst wird und einer der Bären verletzt wird!

But I think the bears are not so much dancing with each other as scuffling, because the bear brothers in Berlin are also having a lot of show fights at the moment. The brown bears in Nuenen seem to be just as rowdy as those in Berlin. Maybe it’s the spring and the rising hormones. The main thing is that the fun doesn’t turn serious and one of the bears gets hurt!

Die tollen Aufnahmen von den Braunbären veranlassen mich in diesem Forum nachzufragen, ob jemand mir die Kontaktadresse zum EEP- KURATORIUM für die Braunbären nennen kann!?🐻🤔
Da Lloyd (in einem offensichtlich ähnlich schlechten Zustand wie Fiete es gewesen ist) hoffentlich Ende des Monats in den Nyíregyháza Zoo umziehen wird, plant der Zoo Budapest anscheinend Braunbären auf die veraltete Eisbärenanlage zu setzen.
Den Zoo Budapest habe ich bereits angeschrieben, aber noch keine Antwort bekommen. Bisher ist es mir leider noch nicht gelungen, mich an die zuständige Stelle für die Braunbären zu wenden, was mir auf diesem Wege vielleicht gelingt…
