I happen to love the lion pair Pelo and Shakura in the Henry Vilas Zoo. There are times Pelo does something that brings back beautiful memories of our Themba (aka Chunky). Here are some fun pics of this majestic pair.

It’s hard to give a rub when your lady lion is interfering 🙂
I moved to a different spot to attempt a better pic….
Take that Shakura! Pelo also nipped her in the booty when she kept interfering with his rubs
