5.2.2024 – Photos by Frans van der Kolff
My friend Anke posted some nice photos of Knut playing with a crazy egg. Because there was snow when Frans took the photos I thought they would be suitable for February memories.
I guess a visitor brought the toy to Knut.
No doubt he was very happy about it.

How elegantly he hold his crazy egg. He was so charming and I’m sure he knew all the visitors loved him.

Knuti with his crazy egg was a great time and the reason for thousands of photos in which he lovingly holds his indestructible egg in his arms!
France from the Netherlands always took great photos, unfortunately we haven’t heard from him for a long time, i.e. he commented on Knutitis for a while.

Thank you for posting these heart-warming photos of Frans, which clearly show why Knut was so loved. Frans took wonderful photos back then and these show all of Knut’s charm! He was very handsome, playful, droll, curious and as lovable as only a beloved animal can be. If I remember correctly, the Crazy Egg was given to Knut by Birgit from northern Germany the day before his fourth birthday and it brought him – and all the visitors who were able to watch him play with it – a lot of joy. He was always so delighted with toys.

Playing with a yellow Easter egg in the snow is a wonderful thing. Knut had fun with the egg and the visitors had fun with Knut, who played nicely.
That was another wonderful memory.
