Your visit to Zoo Berlin was a very good one, even though there were only a few residents braving the cold.
Mr Sango looks very impressive and I just love the bronze hippo and buddy bear.

Concerning the brown bears:
I am very sorry I have to confess I didn’t even try to visit them.
As I had to make the choice to either go towards the apes (FATOU was important for me to see!) or towards the brown bears. I spontaneously decided to first go to see FATOU – and contrary to strong people (as e.g. Ludmila and/or Monika) my body and feet hadn’t enough energy to go back to also see whether the brown bears were out! . . . Guaranteed: I would have liked to see the three new representatives of Berlin!

Danke für Deine gelungenen und atmosphärischen Bilder aus dem Berliner Zoo. Ich freue mich für Dich – und uns -, dass Du so viel Sehenswertes vor die Linse bekommen hast und in Deinem umfangreichen Album außer lebendigen Zootieren auch einige Bronzeplastiken, neue Anlagen und Bauten und allgemein schöne Gartenansichten im winterlichen Zoo zeigst. Dein besonderer Blick auf Details macht wieder Freude! Zum Glück haben auch das Wetter und der Himmel über Berlin mitgespielt.
Dieser Zoobesuch war sicher anstrengend für Dich, aber er hat sich gelohnt!

It was a great pleasure for me to publish your nice report from the Berlin Zoo!

Despite the cold weather you managed to meet animals. Of course, many of them were indoors.

I wonder if the brown bears are hibernating or if they just prefered to stay in their den?

I love all the animals but I must confess that the cute Buddy Bear is my favourite. I always loved to see them almost everywhere in Berlin. 🙂

Well, the laughing tapir is also very cute and it was wonderful to see little Tilla walking like papa Sango!

The bronze figures are very nice and Knautschke seems to have a golden face.

Ich zolle Dir meinen Respekt.
Bei den Temperaturen und den glatten Wegen in den Zoo zu gehen, ist wirklich nur etwas für Hartgesottene! Und so einer musst Du wohl sein.

Im Gegensatz zu Dir sind die meisten Tiere im Haus geblieben.
Du hast herrliche Wintereindrücke von Deinem Besuch mitgebracht.

Ich freue mich sehr, dass Fatou noch da ist.
Das zweite Bild von Herrn Sango ist niedlich.
