I would love to receive good news like yours from Ranua every day!
The risk of such a long journey should not be underestimated, so we are delighted that the two youngsters have come through it well. They now have plenty of time to settle in at their leisure, and perhaps we will be able to admire all three of them in a large enclosure in the spring.

Wie es aussieht, haben Kara und Inuvik einen sehr guten neuen Platz im finnischen Ranua Zoo bekommen. Die beiden Neuankömmlinge können im Winter den Schnee genießen, von dem viele Zoo- Eisbären nur träumen können... Es freut mich auch für Venus, die, glaube ich morgen Geburtstag hat,dass sie nun wieder Gesellschaft bekommt...

It’s always a relief when polar bears are transported from A to B without any problems. I hope Kara and Inuvik settle in quickly and well!
The last photo of Kara rolling around in the snow is my favourite. That looks very relaxing…
