There are decisions that i understand. But i don’t understand this decision.
If an animal feels comfortable at there home and everything is going well, why does it have to move? I don´t no.

Also for Gregor and Aleut, who now have to leave Warschau after so many years. For whatever reason.

He gives an image of a wise bear. And he is beautiful!

I wish him that he don’t has to suffer under the move and the loss of his familiar suroundings. Best luck to him and to all the other bears who ‘unvorgewarnt in eines der unerklärlichen Eisbären-Umzugs-Karussells gesetzt werden’.

I am sad for Tom. We would not get the information about his life. Almaty is far away.
I hope Aleut and Gregor will be happy in the zoo Prag. The enclosure in the zoo Warschau was not nice.

I’m sorry for Tom.
I sometimes don’t understand the point of these moves either. The lack of transparency in zoos also bothers me when plans for iconic zoo animals and public favourites have changed, animals are suddenly gone and you often don’t even have the chance to say goodbye, which was probably not the case here. In the case of offspring and young animals, I can understand that animals have to be given away, but animals that have been at home in a zoo for many years should not be deported!
I hope that Tom will also have a good life in Kazakhstan and that he will be loved and well looked after there.

Yes, these shifts after many years in the same zoo are difficult to understand and unfortunately the reasons are never explained. At least Gregor and Aleut are staying together.

Tom is a beautiful bear, I hope he is doing well in his new home.

I always worry that we won’t find out anything more about them.
