Dear Imbi, Inari and Mervi!
It's always special to be able to watch zoo polar bears in the snow. You wish it on them so much! I'm happy for Frieda and Raspi that the climate conditions were right this winter, at least temporarily. They look great in the snow. Thank you for these beautiful portraits!

I would also appreciate it if they didn't have any new offspring in the near future, as there are still many cubs from previous years waiting for an adequate new home.

Thank you also for the beautiful pictures of other zoo residents in Tallinn! The smiling sloth was amazingly active and the snow leopard is beautiful, but somehow the little meerkat is my favourite.

By the way, speaking of pictures from Tallinn, I would also be interested to know how the black rhinos Kibibi and Kigoma are doing. I really liked the black rhinos at Berlin Zoo and am sad that the very successful breeding has ended.
Kibibi came to Tallinn from Krefeld in 2013 and Kigoma, who I knew as a young animal, came from Berlin Zoo also in 2013 and they both became parents to female rhino Kigeta in 2017. Unfortunately, almost nothing has been heard about it here...

Hugs

Dear Mervi,

are Imbi Taniel and Inari Leiman new reporters or did you find the photos on the internet?

Raspi is a beautiful and still playful bear as the video shows. I wonder though why you don't see him together with Friieda in the enclosure, because now is actually mating season or do you want to spare Friida another breeding with the current overpopulation of cubs in the zoos? That would also be wise, when I think of Novosibirsk....

Beautiful and impressive photo can be seen and again great comments from you.

The other zoo inhabitants are obviously feeling well too - with and without snow.

Thank you very much and best regards!
