Every animal in human care deserves to be lovingly and appropriately cared for. Animals are not things over whose life and freedom humans can decide without restriction. Wild animals belong in the wild, free and untamed. Exceptions – e.g. the rescue of orphaned young animals or animals from poor husbandry and natural disasters – confirm the rule. It’s good that such facilities exist, it’s a pity that they have to exist!
The rescued cats shown here look beautiful.

it is a blessing that such confiscated animals are kept in a species-appropriate environment here.

That’s exactly the problem, or the curse of the internet, that videos of such private and illegal keeping encourages so many imitators.
