It is important that the bears get along with each other. Let’s see how it looks when the hormones start working….

Their preference to stay in the “cages” is a bit strange, but all the better that they don’t find the jumping off required with it a constriction.

Thank you for your update on the polar bears in the YWP.
They all look great, have already put on their winter coats and are getting on with each other, which is the main thing. I find it a bit strange that they sometimes go into the barred area to chill out. Personally, I find it not so visually appealing and not very cosy there.
But maybe they feel safe there when they want their peace and quiet?

Für Flocke ist es sicher erholsam,
dass sie jetzt allein mit Tala ist.
Die Jungs scheinen sich gut im an-
deren Gehege integriert zu haben. 🙂
Es gibt immer viel zu entdecken in
Yorkshire, man braucht Zeit, um die
Gewohnheiten der Bären zu studieren.

thank you for the news from YWP. It is interesting that a young Hamish lives together with an adult Luka.
I am very glad that Flocke’s boys cope with Nobby and Sisu.
