Funny that the girls turn out to be boys; especially in this time when there is a lot of confusion about the right gender, even among humans…
What more do visitors need than one to three (polar) bears, a proper mulch bed and one or more tubes? Already he/she is entertained in the most beautiful way.

Once again you can see very well that polar bears prefer wood chips as a place to lie down.

The photos of the bears in the mulch show once again how gratefully and playfully the animals react to every change and diversion in their walks and can dig and rummage in the mulch to their heart’s content. In Berlin, the mulch bed is at most 30cm thick as you can estimate from the wooden border.
