We always wish the best for the animals, especially bears, that we have taken to our hearts. Ewa, Flocke and Tala have each lost their original homes, but things have turned out well for them so far. They have a lovely environment and are being well looked after. In two photos you could almost mistake Flocke for a brown bear.
A dirty bear is a happy bear…
We’ll see how things go with the three of them.

I think it’s quite normal that Flocke is still reserved towards Ewa, even though Tala is almost grown up. The maternal instinct still makes her cautious and Ewa copes well with her role as a loner.

The enclosure is beautiful and also has shady, wooded areas, which is good for hot days.

Female Polars seem to be able to keep apart in shared enclosures. Kati was always the loner in Berlin.
