I actually think winter is beautiful.
I like to think that it is fun to play icebreaker.

Thank you for this beautiful and touching post and the fitting words you put into Knut’s mouth!
The winter of 2011 was the last that Knut was allowed to experience and the mourning for this dear bear is still great for many.
But the saying “Beautiful days – don’t cry that they’re gone, smile that they’ve been” still holds true.
Admittedly, this is sometimes very difficult and melancholy prevails. But when you think of Knut and the joy he brought to so many people, it’s not too hard to smile.

It’s nice to meet by this republication some people that aren’t so present anymore, may it be because of a lack of time (probably SylviaMicky and ‘Monika de Berlin’ and Gudrun Graeber), because of the ‘voyage without return’ (Doris -when did she leave?- and ‘Bärgit’s Knubby OSSI’, the first remembrance day of whom was on January 26th of this year) or because of ‘whatsoever other reason’.

Dear Mervi, you are THE very present person! You digged again out one of your many intelligent texts = mixture of fairytales and serious thoughts about the critical condition of the world and its inhabitants – then AND now!

Thank you ALL/e very much for the pleasure to being able to watch and read – in German AND English (thanks again for the transation, dear Bärgit!) – all this.

Ja, das Eis ist dünn! Und es wird immer dünner! – Wie schön, dass das hier so nett durch ‘KNUTis Worte’ in die eher märchenhafte Erzähl-/Gedanken-Version geschoben wurde . . .

Wie schön wäre es, wenn mal wieder Zeiten kämen, in denen das Geräusch des brechenden Eises wieder nur Spaß macht . . . (Illusion – fürchte ich . . ).

Jedenfalls aber sind die KNUT in den Mund gelegten Worte einfach nur SPAß und FREUDE – dafür nochmals ganz besonderen Dank.
