Eben habe ich diesen bezaubernden Bericht gefunden und musste mit den Tränen kämpfen. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das letzte Foto, auf dem Knut so aussieht, als ob er schläft, berührt mich sehr.

Das hast du auf den Punkt getroffen, dass Knut ein Eisbrecher zu den Herzen war!
Es wäre sosehr zu wünschen, dass die Menschen, Diplomaten und Politiker diese einfache Sprache der Herzen nutzen würden, anstatt nur Macht, Geldgier und Betrug
” regieren” zu lassen.

Dear Mervi!
Thank you for republishing this article, whose message is still relevant today. Even though I wish every polar bear the winter with snow and ice that he desires, I am freezing!
We now have double-digit sub-zero temperatures in Berlin at times, and a warm bed with a hot water bottle and a good book is the only thing I want…
But thinking of Knut, the ‘Golden Girls’, many other animals, their keepers and the wonderful time we had with them and many friends still warms my heart! Thank you for this cosy place where we can warm up in these difficult times! As for many statesmen and leaders, they are ruled by their money and greed and have forgotten everything that makes them good and valuable people… I believe in poetic justice and wouldn’t want to be in their shoes. Really bad karma!
