Gerda und Kai fühlen sich augenscheinlich auch alleine wohl! Es wäre gut, wenn sich bei Gerda nicht schon wieder Nachwuchs einstellen würde... Vielen Dank für die Fotogrüße von Anouk und Nicky!

I also hope that Kai and Gerda’s togetherness will have no consequences and that Mama Gerda can now enjoy her retirement.

Dear Arkadi, Sergej and Mervi!
Visitors always enjoy seeing polar bears being treated to tasty treats by their keepers and kept busy with toys. This is essential when keeping such animals in captivity. Gerda and Kai are not bored as singles and both look content.
However, I fear that their tête-à-tête in spring did not remain without consequences.
We shall see…
