Thank you for this delightful article. The keepers in Novosibirsk are very imaginative when it comes to keeping the polar bears happy and occupied.That was a successful birthday surprise and a lovely little party.
Belka and Strelka have grown quite a lot and Gerda needs strong nerves to keep her little savages in line.
What a pity that the visitors couldn’t watch these scenes…
