What a great idea to plant wildflower meadows, even in animal enclosures at the zoo. The polar bears seem to like it – it reminds me of Knut again – and they all look great in this wild growth. Two old bears and one young bear are enjoying themselves in the Pocket Prairie.

Die altersgemischte Eisbären-WG,die zudem noch nicht geschlechtsspezifisch ist,tut KULU,NAN und NEIL offenbar sehr gut. Auf der von Wildblumen bewachsenen Wiese können die Drei ganz ungewohnte Erfahrungen machen!!👍👌👏🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️🐻‍❄️🌼🌸🏵🤗

This is a beautiful, versatile and natural design of the bear enclosure and also pleases the visitor with its colourfulness.

Despite the age difference, the three bears get on quite well together. The youngster Kulu is shown his limits by the two older bears when necessary.

Fiete in Hungary was also looked after by an older bear aunt as a teenager and that was good for his development.

It’s wonderful to see Kulu, Nan and Neil among the wild flowers. All three are looking beautiful, healthy and happy.

I wish all the polar bears in zoos/animal parks had such nice ‘wilderness’ in their enclosures instead of dull Concrete.
