As can be seen from the website, Anouk is the first polar bear to be kept at the Safari Resort Lumigny, which originally mainly housed a large number of big cats of all kinds. Now the aim is to introduce a more diverse range of animals to make the park more attractive.
Let’s hope that Anouk will find a good home with another companion and that experienced keepers in polar bear husbandry will be able to help.
