To many visitors, ‘Bear Wood’ is the star attraction at ‘Bristol Zoo Project’ but it is also home to many other varieties of wonderful animals. Cheetahs, Gelada, Giraffes, Zebra, Eland, Red River Hog, Meerkats, Lemurs, Pygmy Goats and Village Weavers can all be seen.

There are many birds, too in this zoo.
In 2024 construction will begin on a Conservation Campus and new enclosures to house their Gorilla troop and other species which are still living at the former Bristol Zoo site.
